  From television to magazines to the Internet, the media is everywhere imparting our daily lives. Yet, the fundamental problems many seem the have with all these forms of media is “follow-up” stories and “investigative” reporting.

MEDIA RELATIONS AND YOU

  You might think that the media is scary because of the criticisms labelled against it but really it is not far from it. The media has, on most occasions, been viewed as the greatest agent for the proliferation of most social vices. They have the ability to create a fictitious world which most of their audience tend to absorb “hook, line and sinker”.

NEGATIVITY OF THE MEDIA

    I consider the media negative but not to the extreme. The media in itself is not negative, but its message content determines its negativity level.

INFORMATION AND THE STUDENT

 Getting information has become useful to students who hope and wish to survive in a new environment – in a tertiary institution as ours. Getting the right information requires asking the right questions, knowing who and when to ask the questions and how to ask the questions – all these a student must pay vivid attention to.
